The Girls Get IT! Initiative was developed in partnership with the Florida Distance Learning Consortium in early January 2006.  We are located in the capital city, Tallahassee, Florida within Innovation Park, a hub for science, engineering and technology for the entire state of Florida.  We are only minutes from the National Magnetic Laboratory and the renowned Florida State University Engineering School.
